Chalet entirely made of wood with a fireplace, ideal for family evenings.
Ideal for families. In this charming chalet, children, parents, grandparents will enjoy the mountain pleasures. After a day of skiing on the slopes of Les Houches, back to the cottage: it's time to relax! While the children spend their last energies on sleds, parents can relax in the sauna or in the spa. Without forgetting the grandparents who can enjoy the spa in St Gervais (20' drive), or Saillons in Switzerland (1:15 drive). In the evening around the fireplace (oak at will), Savoyard atmosphere guaranteed with fondue or raclette (kitchenware provided). After the meal, everyone goes hisher own way. Some watch their mail through the WiFi, others watch satellite TV or a DVD movie. The next morning, another day in the snow is ahead, we grab the skis in the ski store, and shoes that have dried the day before in the drying apparatus.

The chalet is located 2km from the center of Les Houches, in a dead end. To reach the village of Les Houches, by
train: TGV Paris - St Gervais Le Fayet, then regional train Chamonix Le Fayet, stopping at Les Houches station
plane: Geneva airport in Switzerland is at 1:15 from Les Houches. A bus runs every day. In addition, minibus transfers are also possible with more frequent departures and faster transfer. Car rental is also possible at the airport
road: easy access by motorway from Paris, Lyon and Marseilles.

Our open kitchen is designed to be functional and will delight the most demanding cooks.
Equipment includes vitro-ceramic cook top, self cleaning oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, freezer, food processer, electric coffee maker, toaster and an array of accessories - even fondue and raclette services.

 The living area has a lovely fireplace in old wood and a large south facing bay window. Choose your method of heating - either by Norwegian wood stove (we provide the wood) or by electric radiators (additional fee).
